Halfway Whimsical

About Us

Halfway Whimsical is a local artist's co-op featuring artists and the creative minded from the Oregon communities of Richland, Halfway, and Oxbow as well as points in between. The idea for the co-op was conceived from a community event and became an operational store on May 28, 2007. The co-op has a membership of about 15 local artists and crafts persons.

The primary focus of Halfway Whimsical is to feature, sell, produce, and show locally made products from recycled, reclaimed, or re-created materials which would otherwise be destroyed and sent to a landfill.

The secondary focus of Halfway Whimsical is to feature, sell, produce, and show locally made products which are eco-friendly, such as fine arts, handmade products, restored furniture, antiques and collectibles.
